This webinar focused on launching the Disasters and Public Health Emergencies in the Pacific.
The Report looks at the intersection of public health emergencies and conventional disaster risk management approaches in the Pacific. Findings from the report show disaster management systems were put to the test during the COVID-19 pandemic, not only in response to the virus, but also for dealing with multiple events including weather and health -related emergencies – often at the same time.
