The Pacific Guidance on Internal Planned Relocation is a non-binding regional tool that supports Pacific Island States to strengthen national systems for voluntary, rights-based, culturally grounded, and risk-informed relocation. It applies to Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across rural, urban, outer island, and informal settlement contexts, as well as host communities, neighbouring populations, relocated persons, and those who choose to stay in place.
